At Mason-McDuffie Financial Corporation / INTERVEST, we offer financing solutions for commercial real estate and multifamily properties throughout the western United States. We fund construction, bridge and permanent loans for our own portfolio, and offer mortgage banking services on permanent loans placed with life insurance company lenders and other institutional funding sources.
Construction Loans
Mason-McDuffie Financial Corporation / INTERVEST offers very competitive construction loans on most income producing property types, including apartments, office, retail, industrial and others. Loan sizes vary from $1 million to $40 million or more. Typical loans are for ground-up construction, short-term bridge financing, and major remodel/repositioning of commercial real estate properties. Loan terms are generally up to 30 months with extension options available. We also provide standby permanent financing on all of our construction loans to help protect against interest rate or market risk.
In order to take advantage of current low interest rates, we have also arranged forward funding loan commitments from our lenders to take out our construction loans. Most often, the interest rate on the take out loan is locked for up to 24 months before funding.

• Current financial statements for all guarantors
• Three years' tax returns
• Borrowing entity information
• Copy of construction contract
• Developer's cost breakdown
• Plans and specifications
• Pro forma income and expense statements
• Tenant leases / letters of intent to lease
• Phase I environmental report addressed to INTERVEST
